At Sierra View Medical Center, our values of Compassion, Collaboration, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect guide everything we do. These values shape the way we care for our patients, support our teams, and lead our organization.
At the end of 2024, during our Annual Leadership Luncheon, we recognized five outstanding leaders who exemplify these values in their daily work. Nominated and voted on by their peers in leadership, these individuals were chosen for their remarkable contributions to their teams, colleagues, and patients. Each award reflects one of Sierra View’s core values, honoring leaders who demonstrate what it means to lead with Compassion, foster Collaboration, embrace Accountability, uphold Integrity, and show Respect.
Collaboration: Partnering for a Common Purpose
Silvia Roberts, Director of Care Integration
Silvia Roberts, who has been with Sierra View since 2016, was recognized for her ability to foster teamwork, encourage open communication, and create an environment where collaboration thrives. In 2024, Silvia took a leading role in launching our first Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisory Program. This program provides staff with the opportunity to achieve the hours required for certification, supporting their professional growth and helping Sierra View build future talent.
Silvia continues to lead her Care Management team with dedication, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients. Her commitment to collaboration has made her a trusted leader at Sierra View.
Respect: Embracing and Appreciating Others 
Richie Hernandez, Administrative Director of Imaging Services, Cancer Treatment Center, Outpatient Clinics, Speech & Physical Therapy
Since joining our organization in 2015, Richie Hernandez has consistently demonstrated respect and inclusivity in his leadership. As Administrative Director of multiple service lines, Richie ensures that every voice is heard and valued when important decisions are made. His leadership style is approachable and collaborative, creating trust and confidence among staff, peers, and physicians.
Richie’s ability to build strong relationships and his genuine care for others make him a leader people want to follow. His sense of humor adds to his approachable nature, creating a positive atmosphere where teams feel comfortable and supported. Richie’s leadership is a true reflection of what respect looks like in action.
Compassion: Caring from the Heart
Brandy Irwin, Administrative Director of Acute Care and Out-Patient Services – Senior Nurse Executive
Brandy Irwin joined Sierra View in 2002 and has dedicated more than 20 years to supporting patients, staff, and leaders with compassion. In her role as Administrative Director of Acute Care and Out-Patient Services and Senior Nurse Executive, she empowers her teams with the tools and encouragement they need to succeed.
Brandy’s impact extends far beyond her title. As a mentor, program manager, and leader, she shares her knowledge and experience generously to support others. Her commitment to improving patient outcomes and her unwavering compassion are evident in every aspect of her work, making her a true reflection of this core value.
Accountability: Accepting Ownership of Our Actions
Bryan Brassfield, Director of Pharmacy
Since joining Sierra View in 2015, Bryan Brassfield has led the Pharmacy Department with a steadfast commitment to accountability. He has been instrumental in strengthening processes, including the oversight of Sierra View’s 340B Program, ensuring it operates effectively and with integrity.
Bryan is recognized for setting high standards for himself and his team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. By ensuring clear communication and engaging stakeholders in decision-making, he helps create a department that operates efficiently and supports the broader mission of Sierra View Medical Center.
Integrity: Inspiring Trust and Honesty
Gary Wilbur, Administrative Director of Infrastructure and Project Management
A member of the Sierra View team since 1998, Gary Wilbur is known for leading with integrity and professionalism. As Administrative Director of Infrastructure and Project Management, Gary provides thoughtful guidance to his teams while overseeing multiple service lines.
Gary’s leadership is built on trust, respect, and collaboration. He is admired by colleagues and staff for his ability to bring the right people together to achieve common goals. His approachable demeanor and insightful perspective make him a trusted advisor across the organization. Gary’s unwavering commitment to integrity and ethical leadership sets a high standard for others to follow.
