Vaccine Roundup 11
Now in its 11th installment, Porterville’s Vaccine Roundup has been live since Thursday, March 31, 2022. Despite a countywide slowdown in vaccinations, community members receiving their first, second or booster doses of the vaccine will receive a $100 Gift Card to a local Porterville business. The incentive continues to be funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and coordinated by the City of Porterville. This week’s Vaccine Roundup ends on Saturday, April 2, 2022 and runs from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Porterville’s City Council regularly revises data to assess whether more Vaccine Roundups will be available.
The hospital has seen a favorable decrease in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. COVID-19 vaccination continues to play a role in decreasing the risk of complications from COVID-19. We thank our community members for helping to ensure the safety of our community through a variety of safety measures including social distancing and handwashing.
