Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Week: September 13-17

We’re recognizing Melissa Cabeje, RN and Sherri Gray, RN during Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Week (September 13-17)! Sierra View’s two Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists play an integral role in delivering safe and high-quality patient care at our hospital. What makes them unique is that they are Registered Nurses dedicated to reviewing patient medical records to ensure the documentation of patient conditions and treatment plans. Documentation helps paint an accurate picture of a patient’s health care journey, related illnesses and the care they need to receive.

With their clinical knowledge, Melissa and Sherri help uphold the integrity of patient medical records. They live out the SVMC value of collaboration by providing a bridge between our Health Information Management (HIM) team and our clinical teams.

Melissa, Sherri, and much of their team may work behind the scenes, but their contributions ensure patient health records are complete and accurate, which is vital for the health outcomes of our patients and community! Help us in celebrating Melissa and Sherri!
