Local Porterville Family Receives the COVID-19 Vaccine at the Veterans Memorial Building

The convenience of bringing her children to be vaccinated right here in Porterville at the Veterans Memorial Building caught Maria Navarro’s attention. She and her husband are already vaccinated and today, she accompanied her family’s children to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. One by one, Marijose, Joshua and their older brother, Julio Cesar Viveros, received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. The family lives in Porterville where the children attend school. “We will feel safer being vaccinated,” says Maria. She works in the office of a local agricultural business and has a message for the community. “Get vaccinated so that we can all enjoy time together with our families,” Maria says.
