Recent Power Outage

Today at 9 a.m. the hospital was affected by a power outage that occurred somewhere near Main St. in downtown Porterville. The Hospital was immediately placed on backup power supplied by our generator system.

The only patient care that was non-operational during the outage was our Imaging Services Department. They are now back up and running at full capacity. All scheduled appointments during the outage will be rescheduled for a later date and time. Only emergency surgical procedures will be performed until full power has been restored. In addition, our Emergency Department will remain on modified diversion, meaning we will take patients on a case by case basis. All other patient care areas are running at full capacity.
