Sierra View Kicks Off Mini Christmas Tree Silent Auction on Giving Tuesday

Every December, the Mini Tree Auction fundraiser helps raise funds for the SVMC Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center. Hospital departments donate mini trees which they hand-decorated with a theme of their choosing to help improve local cancer care. This year, the fundraiser has launched at the same time as the Sierra View Foundation’s GivingTuesday campaign welcoming donations to help strengthen local health care as the community continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

To help in observing social distancing guidelines, the Mini Tree Silent Auction has been set up for online viewing and bidding.

The bidding instructions are as follows:

1. Visit sierra-view.com/MiniTreeAuction from your web browser.

2. Register an account.

(You must register a credit/debit card. Your card will not be charged until the end of the event if you have won the bidding or if other payment arrangements have been made.)

3. Select the tree(s) of your liking and place a bid!

4. Make sure to check bidding daily to ensure you are the winner. You’ll have a chance to continue bidding!

For questions or to arrange for other payment options, (559) 791-3922 or email Foundation@sierra-view.com.

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. The Sierra View Foundation welcomes donations today and throughout the year. Learn more at GivingTuesday.com.
