Serving the south valley, Sierra View Medical Center’s Laboratory is a premiere lab located in Tulare County with full-service capabilities and a hands-on teaching environment. Our Laboratory is one of the few state-certified facilities offering a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Training Program in accordance with the California Department of Public Health. For more information, please visit the CDPH website.
Our program consists of a 12-month service rotation for new graduates who have obtained their Bachelor of Science degree, among other qualifications. Those interested in fulfilling the practical requirements to obtain a state license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist may apply for our CLS Training Program. Interested applicants can apply beginning in April for the July rotation and September for the January rotation. CLS Training participants will receive hourly wages as full-time day shift trainees Monday-Friday.
