swifter diagnosis and faster treatment.
Clinical Laboratory Scientist Training Program
Sierra View Medical Center is a proud training site for new graduates hoping
to become fully trained Clinical Laboratory Scientists. The Lab at SVMC
is one of few state certified facilities that offer a rewarding opportunity
to train and learn the role of a CLS in the professional environment.

Our Facilities
The outpatient laboratory is located in a separate, two story building
located at 263 N. Pearson Drive, just north of our Emergency Department.
The building offers a spacious waiting area and an automatic patient servicing
system. Additionally, the main campus hosts our hospital laboratory, which
is also available for half a day on Saturdays for added convenience.
The Sierra View Lab currently analyze over 1.5 million tests every year,
and are accredited by the Joint Commission, assuring the highest quality
of test results. The facility boasts state-of-the-art technology and equipment,
which are fully implemented with bar code scanners to protect patient
ID. The lab proudly performs 90% of all tests on the same day and utilizes
the nation's largest reference lab for specialized testing. All testing
personnel in our lab are fully license and have a cumulative experience
of almost 500 years.
